Junior Odoo Developer

Responsibilities: 

Development: 

1. Customize and implement Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements. 

2. Develop and maintain web applications and interfaces using Python and the Odoo framework. 

3. Work with the team to design and implement new features and functionalities. 

Integration: 

1. Integrate Odoo with other systems and third-party applications as needed. 

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Odoo solutions. 

Database Management: 

1. Design and manage databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance. 

2. Perform data migration tasks when necessary. 

Testing: 

1. Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and functionality of developed features. 

2. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address bugs and issues. 

Documentation: 

1. Document code, processes, and configurations to facilitate knowledge transfer. 

2. Create user manuals and documentation for implemented solutions. 

Learning and Growth: 

1. Stay updated on Odoo updates, industry best practices, and emerging technologies. 

2. Proactively seek opportunities for skill development and knowledge enhancement. 

Requirements:  

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

2. Basic understanding of Python programming language. 

3. Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 

4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

5. Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment. 

6. Ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Relevant internship or project experience using Odoo. 

2. Knowledge of ERP concepts and business processes. 

3. Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. 

4. Understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
